SAP MRP Purchasing Coordinator

We’re placing two purchasing professionals with our client for a 4-6 month contract. You will execute SAP-driven buying activities to keep production supplied and on schedule. Aegis offers paid sick leave, and contractor benefits are available after 90 days.

What you’ll do

• Run MRP in SAP, review requirements, and convert demand into timely purchase orders
• Create and place POs, secure vendor confirmations, and track delivery performance
• Proactively expedite critical materials and resolve supplier or supply issues
• Navigate SAP transaction codes (T-codes) confidently to manage purchasing workflows
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Production, Accounting/AP, and suppliers

• 1+ year of purchasing experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Hands-on SAP expertise on the procurement/purchasing side - immediate proficiency required
• Ability to interpret MRP outputs to determine what to buy and when
• Strong communication, organization, and ownership mindset
• Proficient to advanced user of Outlook, Teams, and Excel

Nice-to-have extras

• 3+ years of buying experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience sourcing components/materials from outside vendors
• Previous success in contract/project roles - perfect fit for this temporary backfill
• No degree required; real SAP and Buyer experience take priority
