Okta SME / IAM Architect

• 7+ years of experience in System Administration or IAM Engineering. \n

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management, including SSO, SAML, and federation. \n

• Strong expertise in Okta, including Universal Directory, SAML/OIDC integrations, Workflows, Lifecycle Management, MFA, and policies. \n

• Strong experience with Windows and Active Directory. \n

• Advanced PowerShell skills for IAM automation, provisioning, deprovisioning, entitlement management, and auditing. \n

• Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID. \n

• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and CMMC compliance is preferred. \n

• Must be able to work onsite in Herndon, VA, 3 days per week. \n

• Serve as the SME for Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory. \n

• Architect and maintain Okta integrations, MFA policies, access requests, SCIM provisioning, and lifecycle processes. \n

• Develop PowerShell automation for IAM workflows, compliance reporting, and bulk IAM operations. \n

• Lead application onboarding and identity lifecycle management. \n

• Design and maintain IAM architecture, workflows, diagrams, documentation, and governance standards. \n

• Troubleshoot IAM incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. \n

• Lead IAM system configuration, testing, implementation, and enhancements. \n

• Support IAM architecture and design for new applications and enterprise initiatives. \n

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud Operations, Systems Administration, and Compliance teams. \n

• Manage IAM-related vendor relationships and ensure reliable identity services.
