Job description

As a Network Provisioning Engineer, you’ll configure, deploy, and support reliable network services across LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud environments. You’ll turn technical requirements into secure, well-documented network configurations and partner with IT teams to keep systems connected and available. Your impact: dependable network provisioning helps employees and customers access the applications and communications they need., * Provision and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, Ethernet switching, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and high-availability services.

  • Configure routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; support TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QoS, MPLS, IPsec, and VoIP services.
  • Apply network security controls, including authentication, encryption, certificates and public key infrastructure (PKI), Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, IDS, LDAP, and cloud security practices.
  • Monitor performance and availability with tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; troubleshoot equipment, network protocols, and remote access issues.
  • Document changes and support network installation, vulnerability assessment, and service delivery through Agile, DevOps, and ITIL-aligned processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in network engineering, provisioning, administration, configuration, routing, switching, network support, and technical troubleshooting; data center experience is valuable.
  • Knowledge of computer networking, IT infrastructure, system design, network architecture, VPN management, and communications systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, VMware/vSphere, SAN, NFS, Active Directory, GPO, SSO, and operating systems including Windows, Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, openSUSE, BSD, Solaris, UNIX, and macOS.
  • Scripting or automation experience with Python, Java, SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, APIs, or shell scripting is useful; exposure to Azure, Citrix, SFTP, FTP, SSH, SSL, and HTTPS is a plus.
  • A degree in computer science or related experience is preferred.
