Part Time IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the the primary onsite technology support resource for West Salem Machinery. This position administers telecommunications systems, employee technology access, ERP Solutions user accounts, hardware and software assets, mobile devices, and day-to-day technical support while coordinating closely with our external third-party IT providers and technology vendors., * Maintain Nextiva VoIP phone system, phone tree, extensions, recordings, and device deployment.

• Manage company Verizon mobile phone account, devices, onboarding, offboarding, programming and wiping.
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding with local Petra Tech and our Swedish headquarters’ Bjuv Helpdesk.
• Administer Global Shop Solutions (ERP system) user access and troubleshooting.
• Develop system for and maintain hardware, software, licensing and subscription inventories in coordination with Finance & Purchasing Departments as required.
• Review IT invoices and serve as coordinator for IT vendor support activities.
• Provide first-level employee technical support on occasion.
• Coordinate technology projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and infrastructure improvements.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows support tools.
• Proven experience in technical troubleshooting support for hardware, software, network issues, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with help desk systems for ticket management.
• Skilled in Active Directory management and user account administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware components and software applications efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to assist users at all levels effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage telecommunications applications
• ERP system administrative support expertise
• Strong organization and documentation competence
• Proven cybersecurity awareness

Education & Experience

• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of technical support, systems administration, telecommunications, or related experience preferred. (Manufacturing industry experience preferred.)

Physical Requirements

• Regular use of computers and office equipment.
• Ability to move throughout office and manufacturing facilities and occasionally lift equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Must meet Company requirements for a criminal background check and drug screening., * IT support: 3 years (Required)

Typical Hours/Shift

• Hours are flexible within the boundaries of Company operational hours, Monday-Friday, between 6 am and 4:30 pm, as long as a predictable, regular schedule can be maintained.

Pay: $26.53 - $31.07 per hour
