Job description
- Develop, maintain, and document in-house IT business applications using Microsoft SQL (2008 and later)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Utilize strong SQL skills to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop both internal and external reports using MSSQL
- Complete functional, regression, integration, and system testing and communicate, and document findings as instructed
- Implement processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Adapt quickly to external environment and organizational changes
- Multi-task multiple execution team deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with MSSQL databases including query optimization, report creation, and development using T-SQL.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organization and communication skills
- Advanced reasoning and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop processes and methodologies
- Effective time management skills, * Experience with Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Systems
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) knowledge/awareness
- Hands-on experience with test case design, defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., SpiraTeam)
- Certification in healthcare revenue cycle management (e.g., CRCR) is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience developing and implementing web-based applications
