Remote Edge Estimator (Junior)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Remote Edge Estimator to join our growing commercial roofing team. This position supports our estimating department by preparing accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for roof edge systems on commercial roofing projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of estimating, construction, roofing, sheet metal, or related industry experience, strong analytical skills, and a desire to continue developing their career within the commercial roofing industry.

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating, commercial roofing, sheet metal fabrication, architectural metals, or a related construction field.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.

Preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience estimating roof edge systems, architectural sheet metal, or commercial roofing projects.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Planswift, AutoCAD, or similar estimating software.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, ANSI/SPRI standards, and architectural metal products.
• Experience working with subcontractors, manufacturers, or commercial construction bidding processes.
