Job description

• Develop and validate physics-based models to enhance manufacturing process precision and machine performance.
• Lead the commissioning of advanced control systems, including server infrastructure, HMI interfaces, and fiber-optic networking.
• Architect and troubleshoot robust PLC-to-PLC and PLC-to-field communication protocols to ensure seamless data flow.
• Manage large-scale sensor data pipelines using SQL and Oracle to fuel machine learning and predictive modeling initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align equipment output with strict quality and metallurgical standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing machine performance data and refining control logic during production ramp-ups.
• Utilize C# and database management tools to build scalable software solutions for system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to apply calculus, differential equations, and physics principles to industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation, control system architecture, and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, and database management for data-driven decision making.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on troubleshooting complex system integrations., * Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, such as through co-ops or internships, involving modeling or software development.
• Familiarity with PLC communication standards and HMI configuration.
• Demonstrated success in collaborative environments working alongside production and quality engineering teams.
