Network Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Network Technician to support our network infrastructure. This role involves providing technical troubleshooting support within a Layer 2 Campus LAN environment, primarily utilizing Arista and Cisco equipment. The successful candidate will focus on physical installs, break-fix support and conduct preventive maintenance while working closely with our remote NOC team. This position is scheduled for first shift and requires a responsive approach to resolving assigned network issues efficiently to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Duties

· Provide technical troubleshooting support for network issues within Arista and Cisco Layer 2 Campus LAN environments.

· Physical installations of network hardware, upgrades and maintenance

· Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve network incidents and requests.

· Maintain detailed documentation of work related to assigned network configuration changes, and break-fix incident tickets.

· Proven experience working with Arista and Cisco Layer 2 LAN environments.

· Strong technical troubleshooting skills related to network hardware and configurations.

· Familiarity with physical implementation processes and logistical coordination.

· Experience working with ServiceNow or comparable ticketing systems.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.

· Knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and best practices in LAN environments is preferred. Ability to keep assigned work items updated as required by established standards

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
