Design and Release Engineer

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Design and Release Engineer to join our growing team in Auburn Hills, MI. If you’re passionate about engineering excellence and thrive on solving complex design challenges, we want to hear from you!, * Lead design and release activities for components and systems throughout the product development lifecycle

• Create, manage, and release engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to ensure design intent is met
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, and other engineering validation processes
• Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, part numbering, and change management processes
• Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective action
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal engineering specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in design and release or product engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred
