Job description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Python and/or Java, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and modern software development practices. The ideal candidate will build, test, deploy, and support scalable applications in a collaborative Agile environment., * Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and/or Java.
- Build and enhance web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop database integrations using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code with appropriate validation and error handling.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, QA, business, and data teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
Requirements
- Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript, or C
- Backend: Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Node.js, REST APIs
- Frontend: React, HTML, CSS
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP, Docker, Linux, CI/CD
- Tools: Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Jira
- Engineering Practices: OOP, SOLID principles, unit testing, integration testing, Agile/Scrum, SDLC, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Approximately 4 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing REST APIs and using Spring Boot or a comparable framework.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, Git, Linux, testing, and the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
