15268ME Systems Analyst (Bilingual Spanish)

A banking institution is seeking a bilingual Spanish/English Senior Systems Analyst to support its core banking applications, payment systems, and related technology infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, this position combines technical and functional application support, database administration, and participation in system implementations and migrations., * Support, maintain, and troubleshoot core banking applications and related systems used across banking operations.

• Coordinate the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of banking software and supporting hardware under the direction of the IT Manager.
• Provide technical and functional support for payment systems, including SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH.
• Install, maintain, and support IBM WebSphere and MQ.
• Perform database administration and support activities for SQL and DB2 environments, and work with jBASE databases as applicable.
• Participate in technology projects, including application implementations, upgrades, and system migrations.
• Support OFAC sanctions screening and AML applications.
• Work with users across departments to resolve application issues and coordinate solutions with software vendors.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the bank’s applications, operational workflows, and system dependencies.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• At least 5 years of technical and/or functional experience supporting core banking systems.
• Experience with banking operations and related business processes.
• Experience supporting payment systems, including SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH.
• Database experience with SQL, DB2, and jBASE, including SQL and DB2 administration.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting IBM WebSphere and MQ.
• Experience managing or coordinating system implementation and migration projects.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and IT service management.
• Knowledge of OFAC sanctions screening, AML requirements, and related software applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, vendor coordination, and end-user support skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Temenos T24.
• IBM AIX server administration experience.
• Experience supporting SWIFT Alliance, including updates, maintenance, and ISO 20022 messaging.
• Experience with internet banking applications and banking modules covering customer records, accounts, loans, and letters of credit.
