Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled NOC Technician to join our monitoring team. In this critical role, you will provide Level 1 to Level 1.5 support, ensuring continuous oversight and operational excellence across our enterprise infrastructure. You’ll be the first line of defense in detecting, analyzing, and escalating incidents across networks, applications, and systems infrastructure-helping maintain the stability and performance of both remote and on-premises data center environments., * Provide “Eyes on Glass” monitoring and first-response support for our enterprise applications, networks, and systems.

  • Use a variety of monitoring platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow) to detect and respond to system events and anomalies.
  • Triage incidents based on detailed SOPs, working toward resolution or escalating to higher-level teams with clear documentation.
  • Initiate and manage incident response processes, including hosting technical bridges and engaging appropriate support teams via platforms like PagerDuty.
  • Monitor and participate in MS Teams channels to remain informed and report on real-time issues.
  • Perform basic infrastructure support tasks, including IIS resets, application pool recycles, load balancing updates, log analysis, server reboots, and more.
  • Deliver hands-on operational support across both Windows and Linux environments, supporting tasks such as software installations, NetScaler changes, and event log/data capture.
  • Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and development teams to support application performance and availability.
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ServiceNow platform to ensure knowledge transfer and process transparency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring capabilities and incident response procedures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows Server administration?, * 1-3 years of experience in a NOC, data center, or IT operations monitoring environment.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Splunk, and ThousandEyes.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience with web infrastructure components (IIS, load balancers, app pools).
  • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and incident management tools like PagerDuty.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage issues in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational support environment, including weekends and holidays as part of a rotating shift schedule., * Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals and troubleshooting tools.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or similar a plus.
