SECRET Software Safety Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Software Safety Engineer to support the design and development of a missile defense launcher. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can independently work within the software development environment to extract, analyze, and evaluate software data from a safety perspective.

The software is developed in C++ within a virtual Linux environment, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working directly with software engineering tools and artifacts rather than relying on developers to provide completed analysis.

This person will perform static and dynamic analysis, software rigor assessments, requirements traceability, and safety analyses to ensure safety-critical software is appropriately assessed throughout development and verification.
