Senior Software Engineer

THE ROLE: You will take ownership of major engineering initiatives across a PHP/Laravel and React platform, becoming the primary builder responsible for delivering high-quality software into production. Key responsibilities include:

• Owning large sprint tickets.
• Building across the Laravel backend and React frontend.
• Running releases independently and supporting deployment processes.
• Reviewing code and helping uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Data and QA teams.
• Reducing technical debt and improving software quality.
• Enhancing testing, CI/CD and release automation processes.

• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise in production environments.
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience owning releases and delivering software into production.
• PostgreSQL database design, optimisation and migrations.
• AWS environments, ideally serverless architectures and Laravel Vapor.
• CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.

You will receive a salary of up to £85,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
