Job description
- Design, develop, and test Java-based enterprise software capabilities and modern APIs in an agile environment.
- Leverage cutting-edge AI agent workflows, including Claude Code and Gemini, to accelerate multi-file implementations, refactoring, and test generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement microservices architectures and integrate cloud technologies., * Develop robust, high-performance Java applications utilizing modern frameworks such as Spring and Guava.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful web services and enterprise API architectures.
- Integrate advanced AI coding agents into daily workflows to automate unit and integration testing and code refactoring.
- Manage multi-repository codebases and configuration management tools including Git, Maven, and Nexus in a Linux environment.
- Collaborate in an agile/scrum team environment utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed databases and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
Telework: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
