Mid-Level Java Software Engineer [$274k/yr+]

• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities utilizing modern Java frameworks, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Architect robust enterprise APIs and RESTful web services within Linux-based cloud and container environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams across the full Agile software development lifecycle., * Develop and maintain high-performance software applications utilizing Java, Spring, and modern libraries.
• Build and manage Kubernetes deployments and automation using tools such as Helm and Flux.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable enterprise RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor, guiding engineering team members and conducting code reviews.
• Utilize configuration management and build tools including Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize software performance within Linux environments.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Telework: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring an average of 1 to 2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
