Tools for Reporting Hardware Infrastructure

Job description

  • Manage and support the City’s IT infrastructure, systems, and operations.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures that improve IT efficiency and performance.
  • Establish and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Analyze infrastructure and system performance to identify improvements and future needs.
  • Oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise data.
  • Coordinate IT security audits and investigations.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain backup and recovery systems.
  • Install, configure, and support hardware and software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install and maintain antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT support requests.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with departments throughout the organization to understand and address technology needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and outstanding customer service skills. This role serves as a key point of contact for IT-related issues and works collaboratively with employees, department leaders, vendors, and service providers to deliver technology solutions that support City operations., * Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting computer systems, networks, and business technology solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of relevant professional experience and/or technical training.
  • Experience working with network, server, and enterprise technology environments.

  • Computer, network, phone, and server hardware support.
  • Software applications and information systems infrastructure.
  • IT industry best practices.
  • Data security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in both office and field environments.
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and operate computer equipment.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift equipment and perform physical activities related to technology installations and support.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
