Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Data Architect to lead the design, development, and management of our enterprise data infrastructure.   • Develop and maintain efficient database systems using technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
  • Lead the development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing tools like SSIS and Talend to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
  • Optimize database performance through tuning techniques, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for database design, scripting, shell scripting (Bash/Unix shell), and linked data management.
  • Oversee database administration tasks including security, backup/recovery procedures, and user access controls on Linux environments.
  • Develop scripting solutions for automation using Bash or other scripting languages to streamline data workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies by maintaining detailed documentation of database schemas, processes, and security protocols.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * Extensive experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and administration.

  • Proficiency in SQL programming for complex queries and analysis tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL tools like SSIS and Talend for data integration projects.
  • Skilled in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell) for automation purposes.
  • Expertise in performance tuning techniques to enhance database efficiency and scalability.
  • Familiarity with linked data concepts and semantic web technologies for integrating diverse datasets.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems environment management.
