Job description
Under the direction of the IT Systems Engineer, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of IT systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation with the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to organizational values., * Install new, or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.
- Perform regular file archival and cleanup, as necessary.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Configure / add new services, as necessary.
- Maintain system documentation in accordance with MICs and SICs.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, + Associates (2-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in systems administration.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
Skills and Abilities:
- Full understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems, both server and Workstation.
- Full understanding of Microsoft Office Applications and Office 365 cloud environment.
- Full understanding of Active Directory and Print services.
- Working knowledge of VMWare and other business applications., + Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- Certifications in IT related disciplines.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices and willingness to stay current on new technology., * Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
- Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.
- Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.
- Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.
- Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.
- Practice good personal hygiene.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Director. *
- Position requires on-site presence
