Agile Coach - Hybrid

The Agile Coach is responsible for enabling teams, leaders, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to adopt and continuously improve Lean-Agile principles and practices. This role serves as a change agent, promoting an Agile mindset and coaching teams toward high performance to drive measurable improvements in delivery and business outcomes. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite., * Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices

• Guide organizations through Agile transformation initiatives and maturity improvements
• Promote Lean-Agile values, servant leadership, and continuous learning
• Support adoption of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and flow-based delivery practices
• Develop Agile capabilities across teams and leadership levels
• Assess team and program maturity and create improvement plans
• Coach teams on backlog management, prioritization, estimation, planning, and execution
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment across Agile Release Trains
• Support PI Planning preparation, execution, and follow-through
• Mentor Scrum Masters to improve effectiveness and develop coaching capabilities
• Identify systemic impediments impacting multiple teams or value streams
• Coach leaders on organizational design, value stream optimization, and operating models
• Drive consistency in Agile practices while allowing flexibility where appropriate
• Support governance, risk, compliance, and change management activities without compromising agility

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery environments
• 3+ years of experience coaching multiple Agile teams or Agile Release Trains
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe
• Demonstrated success leading Agile transformation initiatives
• Experience coaching leadership teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and organizational change management skills
• Expertise with Agile tooling such as Jira, Jira Align, and Azure DevOps
• Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT)
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Desired skills:

• Demonstrated use of Copilot Chat (AI) prompt patterns for story mapping and backlog refinement (e.g., Jeff Patton-style story maps)
