It Director

Are you an experienced IT Director, Group Head of IT, Head of IT or IT & Systems Director looking for a new opportunity where you can shape and lead a group-wide IT function? Are you a CIO / seeking CIO jobs but still want to drive implementation and execution rather than just set strategy?

Are you someone who combines strategic IT leadership with the practical ability to drive change, improve systems, develop teams and ensure technology delivers genuine value across multiple sites and business operations?, * Ideally you will be an experienced IT Director, Group Head of IT, Head of IT, Group IT Manager or IT & Systems Director with experience leading IT across multiple sites, businesses or divisions.

• Experience managing IT across a multi-site, ideally international, manufacturing or engineering environment, bringing together different teams, systems, infrastructure and ways of working. Manufacturing/engineering and ERP systems experience is not essential.
• Experience developing and implementing IT strategy, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology plans and deliver them.
• A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, information security and wider IT operations.
• Experience leading or overseeing major business systems and transformation projects, particularly ERP implementations, system integration and the standardisation of systems across multiple sites or businesses.
• The ability to assess existing IT teams, systems and infrastructure across different locations, identify opportunities for improvement and establish the right structure, priorities and investment.
• Experience managing and developing IT / IS teams, bringing together people across different sites and ensuring consistent service delivery.
• A commercially minded approach to technology, with the ability to assess emerging opportunities, including AI and automation, and ensure investment delivers genuine business benefit.
• We are particularly interested in people who combine strategic leadership with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. This is not a purely corporate or policy-setting IT Director position

• IT Director / Group Head of IT jobs role - newly created senior leadership position with an established international engineering and manufacturing group (£160 million turnover business Sheffield/Leeds/Doncaster hybrid flexible on location).
• Group IT Director jobs / Head of IT jobs / Group IT Manager / IT & Systems Director jobs role - leading and developing the group’s IT and IS function across multiple businesses, sites and international operations.
• Location flexible / hybrid working - typically 2-3 days per week at Group Head Office near Doncaster.
• Salary guide £105,000-£130,000 + executive benefits package. TBC this is a newly created role so that is an approx. guide at this stage.
• Ideally experience leading IT across multiple sites, businesses or divisions, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems, ERP, cybersecurity and business transformation. Happy to look at a multi site IT manger looking for IT Director jobs.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the IT strategy and, importantly, lead its implementation across a multi-site, international business (85% UK focus with a bit of international).
