They also will need this person to be experienced with managing virtual & on-prem server environments and be able to handle administration across Microsoft o365 services like Exchange, Entra AD, SharePoint Online, and Teams. This role will vary on the day to day aspect of what the job looks like as this will be the first formal engineer hired to Kinetyc, however they are backstopped by the much larger IT team across TEKsystems.

The person identified for the job needs to be comfortable being the first line of support for anything ranging from a password reset, to troubleshooting users machines, installing a new switch, or administrating m365 services too. They envision this role growing into a IT management type position as the company continues to grow so the ideal candidate has experience as a lead or would like to get into leadership too. Currently they have a user base of 40 people across the environment, but as that grows so will the IT team. The manufacturing operation only runs first shift and the required hours are just 7-4 or 8-5pm

Windows, Windows server, VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, o365, Cisco, System administrator, troubleshooting, leadership, any experience refreshing network equipment, hardware upgrades, documentation and developing network diagrams,

• System and network monitoring for performance

• Security mindset and keeping up to date on best practices to implement across the environment

• working with vendors for associated projects

• leadership and mentoring of new IT hires in the future

• Capacity planning
