The same passion for innovation that goes into our products also applies to our practices strengthening our commitment to leave the world better than we found it!DescriptionThe Platform Architecture Graphics group is looking for a dedicated Graphics Architect to expand the capabilities of future Apple Silicon GPUs and to enable new customer experiences.Minimum QualificationsBS degreeExperience in design or architecture of real time graphics hardware systemsExperience with software architecture and developmentExperience leading architecture decisions for a GPU hardware or software subsystemPreferred QualificationsMS or PhD degree in CS, CE, EE or equivalent20+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience working with cross-functional teams to understand product requirementsExperience implementing graphics algorithms and writing shader code (such as GLSL/HLSL/OpenCL/CUDA)Experience applying ML techniques to graphics algorithms or hardware designExperience in performance analysis and

optimization of graphics algorithmsExperience building prototypes and models to prove key details of architectural changesExperience writing architectural specifications and requirementsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $216,200 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
