IT Systems Administrator- (office position only)

We are seeking a dependable and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team in a small-to-mid-size business environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical support, systems administration, infrastructure support, and day-to-day IT operations. This position is open to local candidates only. Candidates must be available to work regular office hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, supporting end users, managing IT systems, coordinating with vendors, and helping maintain a reliable technology environment across the organization.

This position will work closely with IT leadership and will play a key role in onboarding/offboarding, endpoint management, Microsoft 365 administration, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational IT support.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for employees across hardware, software, mobile devices, and business applications.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including user provisioning, account setup, permissions, device preparation, and access management.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and related IT systems.
• Assist with Windows Server administration, virtualization platforms, file shares, printers, and endpoint management.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless access points, VPN, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for networking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and infrastructure support.
• Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, hardware procurement, and warranty management.
• Document IT processes, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, office technology improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Help maintain a stable, secure, and reliable IT environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Do you have experience in Server virtualization?, * 4-6 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical roles.

• Experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), endpoint management, and virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• General understanding of networking concepts including wireless access points, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., * Experience in a small-to-mid-size business or managed services (MSP) environment.
• Experience with RMM tools, MDM platforms, and endpoint security solutions.
• Exposure to infrastructure projects, office expansions, or system migrations.
• Scripting or automation experience is a plus.
