HRIS Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking an HRIS Analyst in Houston, TX. Essential Functions:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking, supporting configuration, optimization, enhancements, and ongoing production needs
• Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Time Tracking solutions, including Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Calculation Groups, Validations, Attestations, Time Tracking Codes, Period Schedules, Eligibility Rules, Business Processes, Security, and Notifications
• Develop complex time calculation solutions for overtime, shift differentials, premiums, holiday pay, guaranteed hours, meal and break compliance, union agreements, and jurisdictional pay rules
• Partner with Payroll, Absence Management, HR Operations, IT, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate time capture and time-to-pay processing
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations across Workday Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence Management, and Scheduling
• Investigate time and payroll discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while recommending system and process improvements
• Support system enhancements, testing, audits, exception reporting, documentation, end-user training, and knowledge transfer
• Ensure solutions align with applicable workforce regulations and organizational policies

HRIS/HRMS, Analysis Skills, Analysis Skills, HRIS/HRMS, Time Tracking, Business Processes, Testing, Identify Issues, Root Cause Analysis, Requirements Management, * 5+ years of Workday functional configuration experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking configuration

• Advanced experience with Workday Time Tracking, Time Calculations and Calculation Groups, Time Entry Validations, Business Processes, and calculated fields
• Strong knowledge of overtime configuration, shift differentials, holiday pay, meal and break rules, eligibility frameworks, period schedules, and workforce compliance
• Experience supporting payroll-related workforce management processes and complex enterprise environments
• Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Workday Absence Management, Scheduling, Payroll, or Integrations preferred
• Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian workforce regulations preferred
• Knowledge of unionized, hourly, or global workforce environments is preferred
• Previous Workday consulting or contract experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
