Job description

A 12-month contract opportunity for a Mainframe Engineer based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role focuses on mainframe operations, incident management, and cross-functional coordination to support production systems and resolve critical issues., * Handle Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management activities

Coordinate with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional support teams for issue resolution
Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) and bridge calls for critical production outages
Execute emergency fixes, production deployments, and validation activities
Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding incidents, resolutions, and system status

Requirements

Mainframe Computer, Production Systems, Incident Management, Mainframe Computer, Problem Solving Skills, Operations Management, Production Support, Cross-Functional, Release Management/Engineering, Cobol Programming Language, * Required

Strong hands-on experience in COBOL
Strong hands-on experience in JCL
Strong hands-on experience in DB2
Strong hands-on experience in CICS
Strong hands-on experience in VSAM
Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder communications
