Job description

BNY is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Technology Auditors to join its Internal Audit organization supporting enterprise cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly visible global audit function focused on emerging cyber risks, cloud technologies, infrastructure security, and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for professionals with strong IT audit, cyber risk, or information security governance backgrounds within financial services or consulting environments., Audit cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical controls Conduct application, network, and operating system security assessments Assess vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring programs Review cloud computing and AI-related technology risks Analyze logs and identify suspicious or anomalous activity Evaluate cybersecurity tools including Splunk, CyberArk, PowerBroker, and related technologies Support investigations related to cybersecurity incidents Assess compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, FFIEC, and related frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional technology and audit teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, Accounting, or related field 5 10 years of IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk experience Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and governance Experience with audit methodology, risk assessments, and control testing Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Financial services or banking industry experience CISA, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, C#, Ruby, or Perl Experience with cloud security and AI technologies This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term conversion.
