Job description
As a Senior Cloud Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you’ll utilize your advanced expertise to design and potentially implement sophisticated cloud-based solutions that fulfil our clients’ technical and business requirements. In this role, you’ll support our sales teams by providing deep knowledge of cloud computing technologies, ensuring that our solutions are designed, deployed, and operated to meet client needs effectively.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Your day-to-day Responsibilities will involve acting as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, designing and architecting cloud systems that ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Your role will include providing pre-sales technical support, assessing existing systems, and developing migration strategies for transitioning on-premises applications to the cloud. You’ll design integration solutions to enable seamless DATA flow between cloud and on-premises environments, and you’ll define and implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud systems.
You’ll work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to cloud architecture standards, develop technical design documents, and participate in scope-of-work determinations, product pricing, and RFP/RFI responses. Your expertise will drive client proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and ensure the successful transition of proposed solutions to our delivery team.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies like virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and load balancing.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure resource Manager.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their specific services.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts, VPNs, VPC peering, and hybrid connectivity options.
- Proficiency in cloud storage solutions such as Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
- Deep knowledge of different DATAbase options, both relational (e.g., Amazon rdS) and NoSQL (e.g., dynamodB).
- Advanced client engagement skills and strong technical consulting abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
