Job description
We’re looking for an ERP & Business Systems Analyst to serve as our internal subject matter expert on Acumatica and the operational processes that run through it. This is a hands-on individual contributor role working closely with leadership and department heads.
You’ll own the ERP layer of the business: learning how each department works, identifying where the system isn’t serving them well, and fixing it. When deep ERP issues arise that our IT team can’t resolve, you’re the person who can. You think in processes, not just tasks, and you leave systems better than you found them.
What You’ll Do
- Own Acumatica administration and configuration across all modules (AR, AP, inventory, purchasing, order management, and more)
- Build and maintain Generic Inquiry reports and Business Events to support operational visibility and workflow automation
- Partner with department leads to understand their workflows, identify friction, and configure Acumatica to match how they actually work
- Document, analyze, and improve business processes across the organization
- Serve as the escalation point for deep ERP issues
- Maintain Shopify familiarity to evaluate new tools, understand data flow between platforms, and contribute meaningfully to operational and process discussions that touch the storefront
- Build and maintain Excel-based reporting and operational tools
- Collaborate with leadership to translate business needs into system behavior
Requirements
Do you have experience in System administration?, * Hands-on ERP administration and configuration experience (any platform considered, Acumatica experience strongly preferred)
- Strong process improvement instincts: you understand how departments operate, spot inefficiencies, and know how to fix them in the system
- Ability to work across teams, earn trust quickly, and translate business needs into system solutions
- Comfortable being the internal expert: people come to you with problems and you own them through to resolution
- Strong Excel skills
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-directed and ownership-minded in a small-company environment
Nice to Have
- Ecommerce platform experience (Shopify experience strongly preferred)
- Experience applying AI tools to business operations: process documentation, workflow improvement, reporting
- Familiarity with automation platforms like Zapier or similar, * ERP administration and configuration: 1 year (Required)
