Computer Hardware Technician ***Temporary position*** (minimum 30 hrs/wk)

This position is for an entry-level hardware technician performing hardware repairs on laptop computers. All work is performed in our office. Basic computer support knowledge is required; however, training will be provided as needed on more advanced topics. This is a Temporary Full-time position for the Summer, and hours are negotiable Monday through Friday. There may be opportunities for additional hours, depending on workloads. Certifications may be a plus, but are not required. It is a great position for a current college student or a new grad.

Required Availability:

• Monday through Friday Temporary (a minimum of 30 hours per week)

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Willingness to learn

• Should be able to “think on your feet.”
• Ability to keep calm when faced with troubleshooting a difficult issue
• Ability to work in noisy environments
• Ability to work quietly and keep to yourself without disturbing those around you
• Should have good people skills
• Should be organized
• Should be good at making notes about work performed
• Basic computer hardware troubleshooting skills (higher skill levels are a plus)
• Basic Windows troubleshooting
