Senior Systems Engineer - Top Secret - Local

• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, and management throughout the system development lifecycle
• Support system architecture, design studies, integration, verification, validation, and testing activities
• Conduct technical planning, risk assessments, trade studies, and performance analyses
• Develop and evaluate secure systems, networks, and information systems to meet government security requirements
• Coordinate external interfaces, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and cross-functional engineering activities
• Participate in modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and system performance evaluations
• Research and assess vendor products, COTS components, specifications, and technical documentation
• Support the development of technical engineering products using established processes, standards, and tools
• Lead project activities, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to major engineering programs
• Interface regularly with customers, program leadership, and engineering teams, * Supporting advanced national security and defense programs

In this role, you will support the design, development, integration, and deployment of mission-critical Restricted Ground Systems, working across systems engineering, hardware, software, modem, and antenna system technologies. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience. An active TS/SCI clearance is required at the time of hire., * Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or related field

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience (or Master’s Degree with 6+ years)
• Active Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements management, and systems integration
• Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges, * Experience with Ground Systems, Modem Systems, and Antenna Systems
• Multi-level security and cross-domain system expertise
• Agile development program experience
• Systems engineering leadership experience
• Experience coordinating external interfaces and ICDs
• Strong understanding of system scope management and requirements decomposition
• Modeling and Simulation experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
