In this role, you will harness your passion for design and user-centered thinking to craft intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications. Your expertise will drive the development of compelling user journeys, ensuring our products meet both business goals and user needs through creative problem-solving and data-driven insights. This is an exciting opportunity to influence product development from concept through implementation, working in a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration. A working knowledge and implementation of AI is essential as well as a basic knowledge of social media platforms and posting software., * Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, including requirements gathering, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to ensure optimal usability and accessibility using the shopify platform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, front-end developers, data analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into engaging user experiences.
  • Develop detailed user flows, information architecture, and layout designs that enhance navigation and overall user satisfaction across web and mobile platforms.
  • Utilize design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite to create high-fidelity prototypes and visual assets aligned with brand standards.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing (including A/B testing), and data analysis using tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, and web analytics platforms to inform iterative design improvements.
  • Apply best practices in responsive web design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), interaction design principles, and motion graphics to deliver engaging interfaces across devices.
  • Support agile product development cycles by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UI design?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven experience designing for e-commerce platforms or similar digital environments with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI expertise.

  • Proficiency in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), React Express, Redux, and RESTful APIs.
  • Extensive knowledge of design patterns, information architecture, wireframing techniques (using tools like Balsamiq or Visio), and layout design principles.
  • Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies including Agile practices to facilitate seamless collaboration within fast-paced teams.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Target to refine user experiences.
  • A working knowledge and implementation of AI is essential as well as a basic knowledge of social media platforms and posting software.
  • Experience conducting user research activities such as interviews or surveys using Qualtrics or similar platforms; skilled in translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Knowledge of digital design standards for mobile applications and desktop environments; adept at creating responsive interfaces that work flawlessly on various devices including mobile devices.
