Job description

  • Their technical focus cannot be primarily in embedded system design (FPGA, high-speed digital, RF, and related architectures) rather in power electronics and support circuitry for solid-state LED lighting hardware in aviation environments.
  • The current requirement is specifically centered on hands-on experience with LED driver design, power regulation, thermal considerations, and overall hardware implementation for aviation lighting systems.
  • Need to have direct design experience + hardware electrical design engineer within aircraft or product design., * Aircraft illumination / lighting
  • Product lines 10 s or 20 s monthly up to 100 monthly s
  • Follow requirements design product from ground up, communicate with design team, marketing, production
  • Follow processes in place
  • Familiar with MRP (Smart teams, sidelines, Enovia SmartTeam) config control system
  • Controls configuration provides quality control for aircraft
  • Cadence/Altium
  • Part # s for the schematics the rest of the team can use it without duplication, then build a part exactly how they need to.
  • Using every LED that exists on the market right now
  • Engineers are responsible for the design of the Printed Circuit Boards / Wiring Boards

Requirements

  • The knowledge of Deal 641 s & 704 s will be required (or familiar)
  • Design for manufacturing & cost
  • Doesn t need to know SW but needs to know familiar SW principles
  • The capabilities of modeling circuits are important (they do not have paid versions or Splice models) required to have skills on LT Splice. (Intended design/direction will work)
  • Per HR: the team has a lot of EEs, but they are junior. 8+ years of experience is key.
  • Experience with Aerospace Engineering is a must
  • Working on new projects for AirBus + other lines = Build, test, qualify and deploy to client
  • Familiar with Optics/Physics/Theral Dynamics

Requirement:

  • Sr. Level + Aerospace Engineering + E2E Design Process + MRP s + Mentor for younger team members, find better approach, talk to team to find optimal solutions. Communicate clearly as voice of team & customer. Oversee some of the projects, redirect as needed.
