Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Workday Payroll Support Analyst to lead technical payroll support across their Workday ecosystem. This role is responsible for overseeing Workday U.S. Payroll configuration, troubleshooting complex system issues, driving enhancements, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll operations. The ideal candidate brings deep Workday Payroll experience, strong systems configuration skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Compensation, Benefits, Operations, and Controllership teams. This is a hybrid position based out of either New York City or Smyrna, GA., * Lead technical support for Workday U.S. Payroll, resolving complex system issues.

  • Configure and maintain Workday Payroll and Time Tracking modules to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Own testing and implementation of Workday updates, enhancements, and releases.
  • Collaborate closely with Compensation, Benefits, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to define requirements and implement system improvements.
  • Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams and provide expert technical guidance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to system configurations and issue resolutions.
  • Support Workday-related SOX controls within the Controllership organization.

Requirements

  • Strong Workday Payroll systems configuration experience (must-have).
  • Experience with Workday HCM and Financials.
  • Proven background in troubleshooting and resolving complex payroll system issues.
  • Knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
