Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Management Specialist (Contractor) to support accurate entry, review, and maintenance of employee job and compensation data in our HR systems. The contractor will focus heavily on data accuracy, consistency, and timely processing while supporting HR partners and employees with routine transactions. This role helps ensure high-quality data and supports the overall effectiveness of our HR Services organization., * Enter, audit, and validate job and compensation data within Workday to support HR, managers, and employees.

  • Provide accurate and timely processing of employee lifecycle data, including onboarding, job changes, compensation updates, manager changes, transfers, and separations.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all transactions.
  • Provide general support across the HR Solutions team to help balance workloads and ensure operational continuity.
  • Apply knowledge of HR systems and data structures to understand impacts of transactions and maintain high data quality.
  • Document simple processes or updates to support team reference materials.
  • Maintain productivity and quality levels in alignment with team standards.
  • Prioritize assigned workload, follow up promptly, and handle competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform light data analysis using Excel (basic formulas, filtering, pivoting) to support data checks or recurring work.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with Workday required
  • Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and the ability to perform minor data analysis.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Prior experience with HRIS, data entry, or HR data transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with HR partners and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, while managing multiple priorities.
  • Positive, adaptable, and curious approach to learning processes and tools.
