Job description

The Digital Developer role supports the development, performance monitoring, and operational maintenance of the corporate website. Positioned within the Digital Marketing team, this role collaborates with paid media, analytics, UX, and external agencies to ensure the website remains reliable, efficient, and aligned with marketing goals. The position contributes to maintaining platform integrity and enhancing user experience through technical website management.

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Support development and updates for the WordPress website hosted on WP Engine, including themes, plugins, and integrations

  • Implement front-end and back-end improvements using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

  • Perform routine maintenance such as security updates and environment coordination

  • Assist with releases, deployments, and testing alongside internal stakeholders and agencies

  • Monitor site performance metrics, including page speed and uptime, and escalate issues

  • Collaborate with the Search team to resolve technical issues affecting SEO, paid media landing pages, or conversion

  • Follow operational processes for documentation, change management, QA, and incident tracking

  • Maintain website health, including backups and routine checks

  • Support Google Tag Manager and GA4 implementations and troubleshoot tracking issues

  • Assist with experimentation like A/B testing and landing page improvements

  • Manage media workflows using Cloudinary for asset delivery and optimization

  • Update templates and reusable components to support content teams

  • Maintain metadata and image optimization standards

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, UX, Paid Media, Analytics, and external agencies on initiatives

  • Translate marketing requirements into technical updates under guidance

  • Participate in discussions regarding website decisions and enhancements

  • Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in website development and operations with WordPress

  • Practical knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and performance and security practices

  • Familiarity with managed hosting platforms like WP Engine and deployment workflows

  • Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end familiarity (PHP)

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and digital analytics tracking

  • Knowledge of website performance, SEO basics, and accessibility standards

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, UX, and analytics

Benefits & conditions

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is $104,200 to $156,300

  • This role is eligible for a bonus
