Job description
Montbleau & Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle project management from initial planning to final execution ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You will be the key point of contact for clients, manage internal teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring custom architectural millwork projects to life.
What Youâll Do
Leadership & Oversight:
- Direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead teams of Assistant Project Managers, Installation Supervisors, and Lead Engineers.
- Assign tasks based on expertise and ensure alignment with project goals.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Installation teams to align on materials and manpower scheduling.
- Oversee shop drawings, submittals, and ensure quality control.
Client & Vendor Communication:
- Act as the main liaison with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Manage vendor contracts, insurance, bonds, and related documentation.
Financial Management:
- Monitor budgets and job costs with a focus on accuracy and forecasting.
- Submit and track progress billings and change orders.
- Maintain detailed cost projections and reports using internal systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and update critical project documents, including:
- Project schedules.
- Submittal and change order logs.
- Material status reports.
- Installation reports.
- Scope trackers and cost-to-complete reports.
- Provide monthly updates to Project Executives.
Final Deliverables & Closeout:
- Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list completion and submission of warranties, guarantees, and manuals.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Accounting systems?, Do you have a Bachelorâs degree?, * Bachelorâs degree in Construction Management or a related field - or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and Foundation (or similar project management/accounting software).
- OSHA-10
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience managing large-scale, custom fabrication or millwork projects.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in on-site construction management.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex change orders and multi-phase project scheduling.
