Job description
Job Overview: The Master Data & Document Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining product master data, document control records, engineering change documentation, and configuration management processes. This role ensures product information is accurate, controlled, synchronized between Oracle PLM and ERP systems, and compliant with company quality standards., * Create, maintain, and validate item master data and product attributes.
- Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Administer document control processes, including revision control and document releases.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure proper approvals and implementation.
- Monitor and resolve Oracle PLM-to-ERP synchronization issues.
- Maintain product configuration and revision control records.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) data setup activities.
- Ensure compliance with document control and data governance procedures.
- Support internal, customer, and external audits.
- Generate reports and metrics related to data accuracy and document control activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product data management.
- Reject incomplete release packages, ECOs, or records lacking required approvals.
- Reject item master records with missing or invalid information.
- Escalate data governance and compliance issues as needed.
- Does not approve engineering designs or technical specifications.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of Document Control, Configuration Management, or Product Data Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Oracle PLM and/or Oracle ERP preferred.
- Item Master and BOM Management
- ECO Administration
- Microsoft Excel
- ISO 9001; AS9100 preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
