AutoCAD Surface Modeling

Job description

Work on real Colorado projects. Build technical skills that move your career forward.

Land development projects you can see come to life. Grading, utilities, drainage, and site design work that supports growing communities across Colorado. A practical engineering role with real mentorship, project exposure, and opportunities to continue growing technically.

At R&R Engineers-Surveyors, our Design Engineers are involved in active projects from the beginning, not just production work behind the scenes. You’ll support residential and commercial land development projects through design, permitting, and coordination while working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams. You can expect a combination of Civil 3D design, problem-solving, collaboration, and practical project experience that helps build both technical skills and confidence over time.

If you enjoy diversity in your day-to-day work and seeing projects move from design into construction, this is the type of job that gives you strong experience early in your career.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform engineering calculations for grading, drainage, and utilities
  • Assist in preparing construction documents using Civil 3D
  • Support development of site plans and surface models
  • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers
  • Assist with stormwater design and drainage reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
