Job description
The Technical Product Owner Customer Technical Products is responsible for end-to-end ownership and delivery of data products and integration services across the Customer Technical Products organization. This role supports multiple product domains, including Customer, Meter, Billing, and Payment Data Services, as well as technical build teams. It ensures delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across the Customer Portfolio. The role requires a hybrid Product Owner / Technical Delivery Lead profile, with strong emphasis on project/program management, vendor management, and financial management disciplines to drive consistent, high-quality execution across a complex, multi-team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage cross-product roadmaps and backlog prioritization across Customer Technical Products domains

Support delivery across:
- Customer Data Services
- Meter Data Services
- Billing Data Services
- Payment Data Services
- Build / Technical delivery teams
- Lead end-to-end delivery across Plan / Build / Run lifecycle for data products and integration services

Drive project/program management execution, including:
- Scope, schedule, risk, and dependency management
- Cross-team coordination and portfolio alignment

Manage vendor ecosystem, including:
- Vendor evaluation, onboarding, and performance management
- Delivery quality and accountability

Oversee financial management, including:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cost tracking and funding alignment across multiple initiatives
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and reusable data products
- Provide portfolio-level reporting and governance updates, * Drive delivery across Customer Technical Products organization, supporting all major data product domains
- Ensure consistency in delivery execution, governance, and standards across product teams
- Enable integration and reuse of data products across multiple systems and channels
- Maintain accountability for cross-team delivery outcomes and system performance

Requirements
- 7 10+ years experience in technical product ownership, program management, or IT delivery leadership
- Strong project/program management expertise delivering complex, cross-team initiatives
- Demonstrated vendor management experience (multi-vendor delivery environments preferred)
- Experience managing financials (budgeting, forecasting, cost control across multiple workstreams)
- Experience with data platforms, APIs, or integration services
Preferred Qualifications
- Utility industry experience (Meter-to-Cash domain, customer/billing/meter/payment data)
- Experience supporting multiple product domains simultaneously
- Experience with cloud/data engineering platforms (AWS, pipelines, APIs)
- Experience operating within enterprise portfolio planning and governance models
Benefits & conditions
- $80,000-110,000 per year
