Job description

An opportunity is available for a skilled and reliable IT Field Technician to support end users across office locations. This role is focused on delivering responsive, hands-on technical support, resolving day-to-day IT issues, and ensuring all workplace technology operates efficiently and effectively.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for end-user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Set up, configure, and maintain user workstations and office technology tools
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues such as Wi-Fi, VPN access, and local network problems
  • Support hardware rollouts, upgrades, replacements, and system refresh initiatives
  • Maintain accurate tracking of IT assets and assist with inventory management
  • Manage incoming support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and access provisioning
  • Record detailed documentation of incidents, solutions, and technical procedures

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or field technician roles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows operating systems and standard business applications
  • Experience installing and supporting hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Experience working with IT ticketing or service desk platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach

Background

  • Experience in enterprise or multi-location IT environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 support
  • Experience with workstation imaging, deployment, and configuration
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or similar /access management systems

Additional Plus Factors

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification
  • Experience supporting remote users or distributed teams
