Job description

The IT Systems Support Technician III at The Cooper, is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. This role ensures proper operation of all property computers and electronic devices, resolving internal user issues promptly and effectively. The technician maintains parts inventory and service logs, performs system setups for new hires, and adheres to established security protocols. Outstanding customer service to both colleagues and guests, as well as participation in departmental on-call rotations, are essential components of this role., * Provide day-to-day technical support for desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.

  • Install, configure, and support desktop systems, workstations, and software applications.
  • Support user mobile devices and associated applications.
  • Maintain and support guest room and meeting room internet access and entertainment systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor while resolving issues.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guests, the company, and property-related information.
  • Assist in other departmental areas as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 3 to 5 years of IT experience in an environment utilizing Windows servers and desktops.

  • Familiarity with the following technologies:
  • Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Microsoft 365
  • Printers and scanners
  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, etc.)
  • Network equipment (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Hospitality industry experience is a strong plus but not required.
