Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Analyst sitting remotely in LATAM to join a large financial services client. We are looking for a seasoned analyst responsible for driving analysis, solution design, and delivery across complex, high impact initiatives within a global asset management environment. Operating at the intersection of technology, data, and investment domain expertise, this role provides advanced analytical leadership, partners closely with Investments and Operations teams on the business side and the other engineering teams, and ensures that solutions align with business strategy, regulatory needs, and enterprise technology standards. Lead the discovery efforts, translating complex investment management processes into detailed functional requirements and solution proposals. This resource will act as a technical thought leader by defining end-to-end data pipeline requirements, covering all phases of data management, including Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Ingestion, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Security, Business Intelligence, and Data Analysis. You will help to oversee the implementation of new applications or enhancements to existing ones, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting business requirements. This involves contributing to resource planning for analysis workstreams and functional technology needs, leveraging deep subject matter expertise across investment management domains with a broad understanding of how upstream and downstream systems interact. You will support integration initiatives involving APIs, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platform while also guiding analysts and cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, including requirements, refinement, planning, UAT, and go-live. This position requires working CST Hours 8:00am-4:00pm with the compensation ranging from $25-$30/hr based on years of experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst in Financial Services (Asset Management preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server relational databases

  • Experience with Oracle Databases

  • Proficiency in querying for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.

  • Proficient/advanced Excel capabilities including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and analysis for large datasets.

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Excellent communication skills and experience facing high level business stakeholders/clients * Experience with AWS

  • Informatica experience

  • Snowflake experience

  • PostgreSQL (Aurora) is a plus

  • Python experience
