Server Engineer

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting complex server environments, virtualization platforms, storage solutions, disaster recovery initiatives, and enterprise security standards., * Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments across multiple facilities.

• Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Administer virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi/vCenter and Hyper-V.
• Manage storage infrastructure including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel environments.
• Oversee enterprise backup and recovery operations.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of server infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security controls, operating system hardening, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Conduct system audits and ensure compliance with internal and external security requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex server-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead server modernization, upgrade, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Develop and implement automation and performance enhancement initiatives.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

Do you have experience in vCenter?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise server, storage, and backup environments.
• Proven experience managing mid-to-large scale server infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
