Job description

Soni is partnering with a global logistics organization seeking an IT Finance Controller to serve as the key finance partner to IT leadership, the CFO, and broader business leaders. This newly created role will focus on building visibility, structure, and controls around IT spend. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background, can speak the language of IT, and is comfortable being hands-on while partnering with senior leadership., * Own IT budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

  • Analyze OPEX, CAPEX, project spend, vendor costs, and budget variances
  • Support month-end close, accruals, cost allocation, and chargeback models
  • Build reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and financial guardrails for IT leadership
  • Partner with the CIO and IT leaders to improve visibility into technology spend
  • Support business cases, ROI analysis, project financial tracking, and investment decisions
  • Strengthen processes, controls, approvals, and governance around IT finance
  • Support vendor contract analysis, licensing reviews, and cost optimization initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technology budget management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field

  • 7-10+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, controllership, or related experience
  • Strong finance background with experience partnering with IT or technical stakeholders
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, project spend, and cost allocation
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
  • Hands-on, independent, and comfortable building structure in an evolving environment

Preferred Skills:

  • IT finance, technology spend, or transformation experience
  • Mid-size company experience with broad ownership
  • Logistics, transportation, supply chain, or multi-site operations background
  • D365 experience; SAP exposure is a plus
  • SOX / internal controls experience
  • Dashboarding, KPI, or executive reporting experience

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 base salary, depending on experience. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
