Job description

  • Develop and maintain C# applications powering Ziosk’s POS, payments, and loyalty platforms.
  • Build and integrate with third-party APIs including payment processors, loyalty providers, and restaurant management systems.
  • Contribute to core POS interface development, ensuring a seamless payment experience for millions of restaurant guests.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude-Code, LLM-based code assist) as part of daily engineering workflow to accelerate development and reduce repetitive coding tasks.
  • Identify recurring integration patterns and contribute to AI-assisted automation to reduce manual debugging and integration effort.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and infrastructure to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Requirements

Ziosk is looking for a mid-level C# Application Developer to join our POS & Integrations team. You will build and maintain the software powering real-time payment processing, third-party integrations, and the core POS experience across thousands of restaurant locations nationwide. In this role, you will also leverage AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate coding, debugging, and integration work - helping the team ship faster and more reliably. The successful candidate is self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., * 3-5 years of professional software development experience.

  • Proficiency in C# application development (.NET framework or .NET Core).
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based workflows) as part of day-to-day engineering work.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and version control (Git).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience., * Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, payment processing, or loyalty platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with EMV payments and payment processing workflows.
  • Practical experience building or contributing to AI-driven automation workflows, such as log analysis or task automation.
  • Exposure to embedded or device-side software development.
  • Experience working with restaurant technology or hospitality industry systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
