Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and enterprise reports.
  • Build and optimize SSIS ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop complex SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
  • Support data migration and integration between legacy and modern systems.
  • Design data models, data marts, schemas, and data dictionaries.
  • Ensure data quality, reconciliation, validation, and error handling processes.
  • Optimize ETL and query performance for large datasets.
  • Work across multiple database systems including SQL Server and DB2.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
  • Participate in full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Coordinate with system integrators to support knowledge transfer and continuity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Reporting.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • 5+ years of experience with SSIS and/or SSRS (or Talend).
  • Strong experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with ETL design, development, and production support.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including:

  • Data marts
  • ETL pipelines
  • Data modeling
  • Experience with performance tuning and debugging data workflows.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git or Team Foundation Server.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience with MuleSoft or API integrations.
  • Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting legacy system modernization initiatives.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid role with periodic onsite work required in Hartford, CT.
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week.
  • Must attend at least one in-person interview.
  • Candidate must be eligible for background verification and compliance checks.
