Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and enterprise reports.
- Build and optimize SSIS ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Develop complex SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Support data migration and integration between legacy and modern systems.
- Design data models, data marts, schemas, and data dictionaries.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, validation, and error handling processes.
- Optimize ETL and query performance for large datasets.
- Work across multiple database systems including SQL Server and DB2.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Participate in full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Coordinate with system integrators to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Reporting.
- 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.
- 5+ years of experience with SSIS and/or SSRS (or Talend).
- Strong experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with ETL design, development, and production support.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including:
- Data marts
- ETL pipelines
- Data modeling
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging data workflows.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git or Team Foundation Server.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with Salesforce integrations.
- Experience with MuleSoft or API integrations.
- Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting legacy system modernization initiatives.
Work Environment
- Hybrid role with periodic onsite work required in Hartford, CT.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week.
- Must attend at least one in-person interview.
- Candidate must be eligible for background verification and compliance checks.
