Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in the Hospital Industry. This is a 3-6+month contract and onsite everyday in Attleboro, MA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization., * Provide technical assistance and support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues across diverse operating systems including Windows and macOS.

Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to applications such as Microsoft Office, as well as operating system errors on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Manage computer hardware components, perform upgrades, installations, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPN setup, firewall management, and network security measures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Strong knowledge of computer management practices including hardware troubleshooting, OS installation (Windows, macOS), and software troubleshooting.

Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN technologies, firewall configuration, and network security.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and operating systems including Windows 10/11 and macOS.
