Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Basis Consultant

As a Principal Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape., * Responsible for ensuring solutions are built, tested and cutover into production environments.

• Provide IT support for delivered solutions, interfere to get the right solution deployed at customer SAP estate
• Manages team of hands-on technical resources that deliver and support solutions
• Puts in place strong governance process to maintain integrity of the solution, minimizing customizations.
• Manage to agree budgets, driving value out of software and services contracts
• Deliver to agreed scope. Ensure scope is controlled through effective Programmed governance.
• Associate with Business Solution Architects to promote standard, out of box solutions to be adopted.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position may require travel to Project / client locations.

• Work with SAP and Implementation partner to understand latest technical solutions and deploy fit for purpose solutions that are scalable and meet performance requirements.
• Define and deliver ERP technical requirements and ensure these are scoped appropriately within projects
• Should have strong Networking knowledge to manage the SAP environments in DMZ using internal and external resources, nurturing talent that is able to deliver solutions securely using SAP Certified SSL capabilities.
• Stay abreast of latest industry and technology trends to ensure client takes advantage of latest innovation, * Strong technical hands-on SAP HANA Implementation exposure should have strong hold on Service Operations to ensure projects transition smoothly into Mode of Operations.
• Should Have proven track record and 15+ years’ experience of delivering in a complex ERP environment, Worked as Solution Architects to build and provision SAP solutions, and managed End-to-end SAP S/4HANA, B/4HNA Implementations
• Landscape Management (public & private cloud), Transport Management, Patching, Upgrades, Securing the environment from Cyber-attacks, Solution Manager, Technical Monitoring, Capacity Management and sizing, Strong hands-on experience in HANA, MaxDB and Sybase Databases
• S4 Implementation / conversion experience.
• SAP S4HANA, OSDB migration certifications
• Able to manage senior stakeholder up to Director level
• Experience in managing large technical teams in complex projects in multinational environment (leading internal, 3rd party and external partners)
• Ability to influence and lead within a matrix business (IT/Business) to shape and deliver the business plan and roadmap across business lines, collaborating closely with leadership teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
