Job description

As an IT Support Specialist at VigorCare Pediatric Services, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees across all our locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and security of our technology infrastructure, ensuring that our staff can focus on providing the best possible care to our patients., * Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
  • Maintain and monitor network and system security, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and user access control.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions for various systems and applications.
  • Manage and maintain company email accounts and distribution lists.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Assist with the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Computer operation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
  • Experience with remote desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The IT Support Specialist will report directly to the IT Manager and will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our technology systems.
